The GPBC Fellowship Hall expansion will increase the usable space along with the addition of two bathrooms with showers and an enlarged kitchen.
- January 22, 2021 Granite installation is complete
- December 30, 2020 The progress on the new construction has been happening. The dinning hall is completed as well as the restrooms. Backlogs of kitchen appliances caused a hold up during COVID-19. There has been steady progress. The installation of the counter tops started today.
- Days 190 – 203: October 10 – 23, 2020 Outside work on pebble stonework under the windows completed. Gutters and lights installed and entry completed. Inside the cabinets are installed in the Fellowship Hall and bathrooms. Toilets, lights and countertops in the bathrooms installed as well. There is a utility sink and quick recovery water heater in the kitchen storage area.
- Days 188 & 189: October 7 – 8, 2020 What a difference 2 days makes!! The flooring is all down. The shoe molding is done in the Fellowship Hall and started in the kitchen. AC units installed and the entry way roof is ready for paint or siding??
- Days 180 – 185: October 5, 2020 Flooring for Fellowship Hall started and continues. October 7, 2020 Cement poured for walkways and AC pads.
- Day 179: October 2, 2020 – Construction continues on sidewalk, installation of septic tank and bathroom stalls
- Days 170 – 172: September 23 – 25, 2020 – Chandeliers are hung, painting continues and the drain pipe has been delivered.
- Day 169: September 22,2020 Sliding doors added and the chandeliers delivered. Painting has started. Work continues on the outside with preparation for the sidewalk and entrance to the building. Boxing almost done!
- Days 161 – 164: September 14-18, 2020 Finishing the trim, windows and brick work! It’s really moving closer to completion.
- Days 158 – 160: September 11-13, 2020 Outside Work near completion.
- Days 152 – 157: September 5 – 10, 2020 Windows, trim and doors installation
- Days 146 – 151: August 30-September 05, 2020 Trim work and windows are nearing completion. A 1st look at a chandelier and a refrigerator!
- Days 142 – 145: August 26 – 29, 2020 Trim painted and drying
- Days 135 – 141: August 19 – 25, 2020 Painting completed, trim delivered and trim work begun
- Day 134: August 18, 2020 Painting continues in kitchen & bathrooms
- Day 133: August 17, 2020 First Day of Painting
- Day 130: August 14, 2020 Second coat of compound completed, now waiting for windows to be delivered.
- Day 123: July 31 – August 7, 2020 Drywall taping completed during the last week and 1st coat of compound finished.
- Day 114: July 29, 2020 Last of the sheetrock installed in the dining area and next step is tape the seams!
- Days 112 – 113: July 27-28, 2020 Sheetrocking continues
- Day 110: July 26, 2020 Sheetrock continues. Sure makes a big difference.
- Days 108 – 109: July 24-25, 2020 Sheetrock delivery 7/24/2020 and then installation began on 7/25/2020! What a difference some Sheetrock makes!!! Brick work continues on entrance and on the back side.
- Day 104: July 19, 2020 Members get a walk-thru of the New Addition to our Fellowship Hall after church services. Progress continues!
- Day 97-100: July 15, 2020 Lights!
- Day 94-96: July 9-11, 2020 Electrical work and HVAC continues
- Day 89-93: July 4-8, 2020 HVAC in progress, doors installed, electrical work continues
- Day 84-88: June 29-July 3, 2020 Inside Electrical & HVAC work. Brick work continues next week.
